It was BNSF family appreciation day at the Springfield yards on Saturday. Besides it being a little chilly we had a really great time. Ketron got all kinds of railroad toys. He loved being around all the big trucks and trains. He wasn't at all scared except when we stuck our heads out the window of the locomotive for the picture. He got a little nervous and clingy. If he had the train and controls all to himself I'm sure all inhibitions would of been out the door and he could spent hours in there playing like he does in Daddy's old car.

As much as Mommy hates the cold I am starting to realize we are going to be spending a lot of time out in it. Even with his hands feeling like Popsicles it is still a struggle to head inside for the night.

I thought we might get the colors and coloring book out to get ketron involved in fine motor skills. As it turns out Mommy got some color time in and Ketron removed and put away the colors for close to an hour one evening.
